We combine technical and natural science expertise with humanities and social science expertise to provide a broad range of offerings in technology, society, education, nature, and environment.

With 20,000 students, RPTU is the second-largest university in the German state of Rhineland-Palatinate. Nevertheless, you will quickly find connections among fellow students and short lines of communication with lecturers. We also offer you the opportunity to get involved in exciting research projects while studying. And you can be active outside of lecture halls and laboratories: For example, by joining sports courses or by getting involved in one of the approximately 80 university groups.

Beyond the lecture hall and lab, we at RPTU offer you many opportunities to spend your free time diversely.
