This workshop is a cooperative event by the Equality, Diversity and Family Affairs Office and the ZGaPL.
 

What is it about?

Biases are unconscious assumptions that we rely on to process information quickly and to  remain responsive. And although biases are therefore necessary and also useful, they can negatively influence our assessment of information and people, as well as our decisions.

In this half-day workshop, you will learn more about the basics and how unconscious bias works. You will receive tips and recommendations for action to prevent unintended side effects of unconscious bias.

• Basics and functioning mechanism of unconscious bias
• Tips and recommendations for action on unconscious bias
