Stellenbeschreibung We are seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled student assistant to contribute to the setup and maintenance of a 5G Open RAN testbed. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field of telecommunications and wireless networking.

Testbed Setup:

Assist in the setup and configuration of a 5G Open RAN testbed infrastructure.
Collaborate with team members to deploy Open RAN components and integrate them into the testbed.
Configuration and Optimization:

Configure and optimize the testbed for various 5G use cases and scenarios.
Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to the testbed configuration.
Documentation:

Document the testbed setup process, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.
Create user manuals for future reference and knowledge transfer.
Collaboration:

Collaborate with researchers and engineers to understand project requirements and contribute to achieving project goals.
Participate in regular team meetings and provide updates on the progress of the testbed setup.
Voraussetzungen: • Enrolled in a bachelor's or master's program in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Familiarity with 5G networking concepts and protocols.
• Basic understanding of Open RAN architecture, components and also Experience with Linux-based systems.
• Basic programming skills in languages such as Python or Shell scripting.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
