Weekly Corona Update from the Crisis Team , Week 10
Dear members and affiliates of the University,
In the following we would like to inform you, as usual, about some news that are relevant for our university in connection with the Corona pandemic.
In particular, we would like to link this today with the renewed request to report cases of infection or suspicion in our reporting portal. These reports are very important to keep track of infection events on our campus and to facilitate contact tracing if necessary.
The portal can be found here: onlinemeldung.uni-kl.de/login
+ Current numbers from the University:
One incidence case was subsequently reported to us at the end of last week, plus another case that tested positive in the current calendar week, both of which were recorded via the reporting portal.
+ Pandemic-related home work extended until the end of April.
The Human Resources Department informs that the Corona Occupational Health and Safety Ordinance has been extended by the federal government until April 30, 2021. In this regard, TUK will extend the pandemic-related home office regulations currently in place until 04/30/2021.
+ What is happening in the crisis team right now?
In addition to monitoring current developments, the crisis team at the state level is in communication with the MWWK and the other universities and colleges in the state, particularly with regard to planning for the upcoming summer semester and coordinating rapid testing and vaccination scenarios. For example, we sent a letter to the state's immunization coordinator expressing our interest in offering Corona vaccinations as soon as possible through our company physician. We have yet to hear back on feasibility and timing, but we are staying tuned.
We will hopefully be able to update you on further plans for the summer semester schedule in the next two weeks.
Please also regularly check the Corona website (https://www.uni-kl.de/coronavirus/ ), where you will also find explanatory graphics on the processes and our current
graphics about the processes as well as our current guideline. It is even easier with the RSS feed, which you can subscribe to at the following

We are available to answer any questions you may have at corona@uni-kl.de.
