Weekly Corona Update from the Crisis Team, Week 1

Dear members and affiliates of the University,

In the following we would like to inform you about the current situation at our university regarding the Corona pandemic.

+++ CURRENT REGULATIONS: WHAT APPLIES WHERE?

The 29th CoBeLVO with the amending ordinances implemented at the turn of the year still applies. A new state regulation is expected in the wake of today's Minister Presidents' Conference. The graphics, which compactly depict central scenarios in university operations, provide a quick overview of the regulations at the TUK. You can find them at the bottom of the Corona info page: www.uni-kl.de/coronavirus.

With regard to the overall situation: At TUK, the attendance semester still applies. The crisis team regularly evaluates possible changes depending on further developments. This is done in exchange with the other universities in Rhineland-Palatinate and the Ministry.

For the organisation of special events, the conventional procedure applies via notification to the event management. In this way, you will be reliably supported with regard to the many details of the respective regulatory situation.

+++ INFECTION FIGURES AT THE TUK

In the current week, 16 new index cases were reported at TUK. You can also see the development of the numbers on our TUK website at www.uni-kl.de/coronavirus. Furthermore, if you receive a positive test or are contacted as a suspected case, we urge you to register in the reporting portal at onlinemeldung.uni-kl.de/login. This is the only way we can keep track of the index cases. This is the only way we can keep track of the incidence of infection and initiate appropriate measures to protect against infection.

+++ LEARNING PLACES IN THE LEARNING TENT

Student study spaces are once again available in the tent. When using them, the distance requirement and the mask requirement apply (also at the site).

+++ OPENING HOURS TEST CENTRE

The test centre in the learning tent on the Unisport grounds is open from Monday to Friday from 7 am to 1 pm and from 2 pm to 7 pm. On Saturdays, the DRK team conducts quick tests there from 9 am to 3 pm.
