About the authors

Dr. Olga Klimecki-Lenz is a psychologist and neuroscientist at the University of Geneva. As part of her doctoral thesis with Prof. Tania Singer (summa cum laude) at the University of Zurich and the Max Planck Institute in Leipzig, she investigated the influence of meditation training. In doing so, she provided the first evidence for the plasticity of brain functions through emotion training. She is currently coordinating the research focus on the role of emotions in conflict resolution at the University of Geneva. She also heads the emotions working group in the European Medit-Ageing project. This project investigates whether interventions can promote healthy and adaptive ageing processes.
