You don't need to know Hebrew or Arabic, or even English, to understand this logo: Two figures throw away their guns and approach each other with outstretched hands. The distance is short; the step is huge. "Combatants for Peace" has been connecting former combatants from both sides in Israel and Palestine since 2006. We invite you to hear for yourself how it is possible to break out of the seemingly endless spiral of hatred and violence in the Middle East. Our guests will talk about their personal and not always easy journey. Their experience is an impressive sign of hope from a region whose conflicts have also led to a debate in Germany in which the divides sometimes seem unbridgeable. And yet this is only a distant echo of the bitter conflict on the ground, which has been going on for decades. Listen for yourself: There is another way.

Peace and Environment Office of the Evangelical Church of the Palatinate
