Teacher training: Introduction to peace education and conflict analysis

Annalena Groppe, research associate at the Peace Academy, will contribute an introduction to the basics of peace education at a training event organized by the Rhineland-Palatinate State Institute of Education. Various perspectives - from critical to experience-based approaches - will be presented, offering practical ways of dealing with conflicts in the classroom.

In the subsequent workshop by Dr. Julia Hagen from the Service Agency for Peace Education in Baden-Württemberg, the method "Conflict Analysis with a Peace Focus" will be presented. The aim is to deal with wars and armed conflicts and to be able to better orientate oneself in international politics.
