Lecture: Peacebuilding - but how?

Dr. Heinz Klippert sees the current insistence on armament, economic sanctions and war training as a highly risky game with fire and instead pleads for a decisive questioning of this battle-ready zeitgeist in politics, the media, military circles and schools.

In his lecture, Klippert problematizes the pronounced "good-evil thinking", takes an angry look at the devastating consequences of war, questions the current logic of war and armament offensive and advocates a reflected pacifism that aims at war prevention, peace imagination and non-violent conflict resolution and provides for appropriate educational work.
Klippert provides well-founded problem statements, analyses and food for thought that make it clear that peace education must be more than one-sided Bundeswehr advertising and mental and emotional war training. There is never no alternative to war! The aim of the lecture is to raise awareness of this.

Dr. Heinz Klippert holds a doctorate in economics, studied sociology, is a trained secondary school teacher, learning researcher, teacher trainer and author of numerous books on current educational issues, new learning methods and socio-ethical topics - including the new work "Frieden sichern?! A guide to revitalizing pacifist thinking".
