Femconsult is a service of the Center of Excellence Women in Science and Research (CEWS).
The CEWS acts as a central point of contact in Germany to promote the implementation of gender equity in science and research.

An important resource of Femconsult is its database of female scientists, which includes more than 3,000 qualification profiles of scientists with doctorates and habilitations from German-speaking countries.

The database is a useful tool for universities, research institutions and ministries for the targeted recruitment of female scientists for management positions and decision-making bodies.
In particular, the information service "Recruitment of Women Scientists - Actively Shaping" aims to support universities and research institutions in implementing targeted measures to promote women scientists and create equal conditions.

In addition to the database, the CEWS also offers information on promoting gender equality in science.
