At the second Austrian Conference on International Resource Policy, which took place from February 28 to March 2, 2019 in Innsbruck, the Peace Academy RLP was represented with numerous contributions.

In a special session, Jun. Prof. Dr. Janpeter Schilling and Dr. Nina Engwicht presented the recently published special issue "A Local to Global Perspective on Resource Governance and Conflict". Christina Ankenbrand and Julia Renner organized a special session on "Natural Resource Governance in Africa - Needs, Challenges and Opportunities for the International Community", in which Julia Renner and Dr. Nina Engwicht, among others, presented their current research. In a session on critical extractivism, Dr. Sascha Werthes presented a paper written by him and Jan Grabek entitled "The Neglected Contradictions of Resource Sector Reforms in Former War-Economies: A Critical Review of Liberian Resource Governance Reforms".
