In 2020, the Peace Academy team faced the challenge of switching everything to the "new online". We expanded our existing platforms and reached even more and new audiences through digital events. The pandemic has also changed our view of our field of research, peace and conflict research. It has made global inequalities visible and reinforced them in a shocking way. We have made these inequalities of the pandemic itself a topic and looked at the possibilities for social cohesion in crisis situations.

The annual report presents these developments in the areas of public relations, cooperation, workshops and teaching. We also present news from our research projects. In addition, employees report on their enriching experiences in international exchange - despite and in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic.
