W&F is a leading academic journal on peace issues in the German-speaking world. For almost 40 years, it has been shaping the peace research discourse in Germany and building bridges between peace research, peace policy and the peace movement. W&F publishes trenchant and reflective texts on current peace policy, military-strategic and armaments technology issues and works on theoretical debates for a broad audience. The focus is always on the search for ways of civil conflict resolution, safeguarding human rights and securing the future. The Peace Academy Rhineland-Palatinate also pursues these goals. We were therefore delighted to be able to join the circle of existing publishing institutions and help shape the future of the journal.
