On March 31, 2023, Janpeter Schilling was elected to the board of the Association for Peace and Conflict Research (AFK) as an assessor at its general meeting in Berlin. The AFK has over 300 members and is one of the most important institutions in German-speaking peace and conflict research. By participating in the board work of the AFK, the Peace Academy Rhineland-Palatinate strengthens the association and its own network.
