Conference: International Association for Conflict Management
The annual conference of the International Association for Conflict Management took place from July 12 to 15, 2020. Due to the current Covid-19 pandemic, the conference was held as a virtual conference this year.
The Peace Academy's international cooperation program on "Developing the Next-Generation of Shared Society Theory and Practices" was represented with its own panel. In this panel, Melanie Hussak, Jun. Prof. Dr. Janpeter Schilling and Dr. Ulrike Zeigermann (Associate of the Peace Academy) gave a lecture on "Societal Polarization versus new opportunities for building a Shared City: Applying the Shared Society concept to current challenges of right-wing populism in Germany".
