Assembly for humanity and togetherness
On Saturday, December 7, 2019, the Stiftskirche invited people to a gathering for humanity and togetherness. On behalf of the Peace Academy Rhineland-Palatinate, Charlotte Dany spoke about the difficulties of promoting commitment and shaping peace in today's world: "We are currently experiencing increasing polarization, we are seeing the rise of far-right parties and movements. Promoting engagement and shaping peace, humanity and togetherness are therefore more important today than ever; and at the same time, they seem to be more difficult to achieve than ever". A broad, participatory and objective debate on social conflict issues is important.
