Together with Luise Werland from the Institute of Environmental Sciences at RPTU, Janpeter Schilling has published a scientific journal article describing the risks faced by pastoralist groups in northern Kenya. The risks range from "old" risks such as armed conflict, political marginalization and climate change, to "new" risks such as the reduction of grazing land through the creation of nature reserves, large wind farms and oil projects. The article has been published in the scientific journal PLOS Climate and is available free of charge here.
