Academic Director of the Peace Academy receives teaching award
On June 25, 2025, the Academic Director of the Peace Academy, Prof. Dr. Janpeter Schilling, was awarded the teaching prize for the best seminar in the 2024/2025 academic year by the Department of Natural and Environmental Sciences at RPTU. The award-winning seminar entitled "Special Regional Geography of Germany with a Focus on Land Use Conflicts" provides an introduction to actor-oriented conflict analysis and illustrates this using practical examples. Based on a simulation game, students learn about the possible perspectives of different conflict parties.
Schilling has already received several awards for his teaching. The basis for awarding the teaching prize is the evaluation results of the course participants.
