Why is there so much talk about conflict and so little about peace? We shed light on current topics and talk to experts in order to understand the connections in peace dynamics. We want to highlight the potential for peace and create spaces for action for peaceful transformation processes. We understand peace not only as the "absence of violence", but as multifaceted and "shapeable".
Dr. Samantha Ruppel is Managing Director of the Association for Peace and Conflict Research (Arbeitsgemeinschaft für Friedens- und Konfliktforschung e.V.) and research associate at the Peace Academy Rhineland-Palatinate.
Christopher Rohles is a research associate at the Peace Academy Rhineland-Palatinate and a doctoral fellow of the Gerda Henkel Foundation.
Dr. Rebecca Froese is a postdoctoral researcher at the Center for Interdisciplinary Sustainability Research at the University of Münster & the Research Institute for Sustainability Helmholtz Center Potsdam.
