Christian Sterzing, born in 1949, lawyer and qualified social pedagogue; publicist and author. Head of the Arab Middle East Office of the Heinrich Böll Foundation in Ramallah 2004 to 2009; human rights observer with the EAPPI program of the World Council of Churches 2019 in Israel/Palestine; member of the German Bundestag 1994 to 2002; 1977 to 2010 board member of the German-Israeli Working Group for Peace in the Middle East (diAk) and editor of the magazine israel & palestina since 1982; since 2020 Chairman of the Association of Friends of the Peace Academy Rhineland-Palatinate.
