CITIZEN TEST CENTRE ON CAMPUS STARTS ON 28 APRIL 2021
28 April 2021
Dear members and relatives of the University,
Tomorrow, Wednesday, 28.04.2021, the DRK-Kreisverband Kaiserslautern Stadt, in cooperation with the Technical University, will open a Citizens' Rapid Test Centre on campus. The rapid test centre has been set up near building 28 in the "learning tent" and is accessible to all citizens without symptoms of illness. This means that employees and students of the TUK, insofar as they have to work on campus, also have another local option for rapid testing for Corona in addition to the self-tests provided by the TUK within the framework of the legal requirements. The rapid tests in the learning tent are carried out by trained DRK staff, including documentation of results.
The test centre is open from Monday to Friday 7 a.m. - 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. - 7 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. Registration for a test appointment can be made online at drk-kl-uni.probatix.de or by phone at 0631-800 93 0.
Taking a quick test at the test centre on the TUK campus can be done Monday to Friday between 8.00 and 16.00 as a tour of duty during office hours. Crediting against working time is not possible at weekends and generally not when visiting other rapid test centres.
With regard to the testing facilities provided, the university management once again urges that neither the TUK self-tests nor the rapid tests at the Citizens' Test Centre should lead to an increase in attendance on campus. The primacy of digital working, teaching and learning remains undiminished.
Yours sincerely
Stefan Lorenz
