Weekly Corona update from the crisis team, week 06

Dear members and affiliates of the University,

The following is an update on the situation at our university regarding the Corona pandemic.

+++ MORE INSIGHT: CORONA WEBSITE UPDATED
Restructured for an even faster overview: Answers to questions about the current regulations of the state and at TUK are provided by the website: https://www.uni-kl.de/coronavirus There you will find, for example, recommendations for action for persons tested positive, contact persons and relatives in the same household.

+++ CHANGES IN CONTACT DETECTION AND 3G RULE
According to the current 30th CoBeLVO, the obligation to record contacts in courses is no longer applicable. Accordingly, the regulatory situation at TUK changes as follows.

From next Monday, 02/14/2022 applies:
The general EU digital proof of vaccination (QR code on the official COVID certificate, in the CovPass or Corona warning app) must be presented for 3G proof; non-immunized individuals can prove their status by presenting the result of a negative PoC antigen test (performed by a rapid testing center, lay tests will still NOT be accepted). Use of the Intake QR code is no longer required. Intake can be used to "verify" digital immunization records on a transitional basis until Feb. 28, 2022. CovIn STATIONS are closed.

As of 03/01/2022, the following additionally applies:
The Intake system is completely shut down. The random validity check can then be performed, for example, by visual inspection or with the CovPassCheck app.

+++ INFECTION FIGURES AT TUK
In the current week, 31 new index cases were reported at TUK. You can view trends in the numbers at https://www.uni-kl.de/coronavirus. If you receive a positive test, we urge you to sign in to the reporting portal at https://onlinemeldung.uni-kl.de/login. This is the only way we can keep track of the incidence of infection and initiate appropriate infection control measures.

+++ OPENING HOURS TEST CENTER
The test center in the tent on the Unisport grounds is open Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.. On Saturdays, the DRK team conducts rapid tests there from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. To register for a test appointment, visit https://drk-kl-uni.probatix.de/de/pick-slot or call 0631 - 800930.

+++ CURRENT VACCINATION OFFERS
