The new programme of the classical choir goes back to the roots: in this a capella concert, we perform piecess from our choir's first concert fifty years ago — masterpieces of Italian, French, and English renaissance composers, as well as a cantata by Buxtehude. A musical adventure encompassing multiple epochs awaits, from the lively dance music of the renaissance to the deeply moving sounds of romanticism and modern masterpieces. Each song opens a window into a different era, from vivacious madrigals and heartwarming ballads to tear-jerking hymns of solace. An evening that touches the soul, lets the spirit soar, and on musical wings leads us home.
