Annalena Groppe invited to the 4th consultation of the EKD Peace Workshop

Against the backdrop of a new debate within the Church on peace ethics, which has developed in the context of Russia's war of aggression against Ukraine in violation of international law, the 4th consultation of the EKD Peace Workshop, organized by the Evangelical Church in Germany (EKD) and the Evangelical Academy Loccum, will take place on 13 and 14 March. The consultation entitled "Pushed to the edge? Peace and civil conflict transformation in times of escalating violence", Annalena Groppe, research associate at the Peace Academy Rhineland-Palatinate, has also been invited. Together with Norbert Frieters-Reermann and Christiane Caspary, she will take part in the panel "Peace Education" as a field of action for the church on March 14. The aim of the program is to further develop Protestant peace ethics in a participatory and consultative process. The Peace Academy Rhineland-Palatinate is pleased to be able to contribute our expertise to the church's debate.
