This year's Global Learning Forum will take place on 19.11.2024 at the vocational school in Neustadt an der Weinstraße. The focus is on the effects that global conflicts and their backgrounds have on people in Rhineland-Palatinate, especially pupils, teachers and extracurricular educators.

How can global conflicts be meaningfully integrated into educational work? How can we deal sensitively with young people who identify or are identified with a party to a conflict? How can ways towards a more peaceful world best be communicated?

These and many other questions will be addressed in two keynote speeches, ten workshops and a concluding discussion. Our research associate Annalena Groppe will contribute to the program with a keynote lecture on "Peace education meets global learning: Transformative learning spaces in, about and through conflict(s)" and a workshop.

The annual Global Learning Forum is organized by the Rhineland-Palatinate Development Policy Network (ELAN e.V.) and the Rhineland-Palatinate Ministry of Education and is aimed at teachers, pupils and all educational stakeholders who are interested in global learning topics and are looking forward to networking with like-minded people.

All further information on the program and registration can be found here.
