Third round started
The aim of the female professors' program is to sustainably improve the equality of women at all qualification levels in the science system and to increase the number of women scientists in top positions in the scientific field.
RPTU has already successfully participated in the female professors' program I and II and has thus received funding for a total of five professorships to date. The program includes a five-year grant for the first appointment of women in the form of start-up financing.
The female professors' program III runs from 2018 to 2022. Recruitment and career development of young female scientists is the focus of the third call for proposals. To this end, applications must demonstrate special efforts on the part of the universities in the form of a concept of equality in the future. Should this be evaluated positively, RPTU will be offered the opportunity to apply for three additional professorships for women, which will be financed by the federal and state governments for a maximum of 5 years. The appointment should primarily be made in anticipation of a position becoming vacant or to be created in the future (early appointment).
Please check whether your faculties is interested in one of the three professorships (early appointment) and which permanent professorship your department will provide for the professor at the end of the five-year start-up period.
