Call for Participation \ International Conference on Land Governance & Future Challenges 4-5 June 2024

We are delighted to share our call for participation for the "International Conference on Land Governance and Future Challenges" which will take place on 4-5 June 2024 at the University of Kaiserslautern-Landau in Landau.

This conference aims to critically look at land governance changes with a special focus on sustainability and climate change, inclusivity and gender equality, land contestation, and related (future) challenges. We welcome scholars and young academics from various disciplines, including political science, geography, peace and conflict studies, anthropology, agricultural studies, and related fields, to join us in fostering knowledge exchange and vibrant discussions. The conference is organized by Anne Hennings and Christopher Rohles in the context of the project "Tug of War - Customary and State Actors in Land Reform and their Impact on Human Security in Post-Conflict Societies“.
