Forms of cooperation

The close proximity of the RPTU to important commercial vehicle manufacturers offers companies the opportunity to work intensively with the working groups at RPTU and the associated technology transfer offices and institutes. Cooperation can take the following forms:

Joint research projects

This type of cooperation offers a group of industrial companies the opportunity to cooperate with research centers at RPTU in a targeted and long-term manner, using their expertise, resources and funding opportunities to work on jointly defined research projects.

Contract research

If companies need support with their research and development projects, the research units at RPTU can be commissioned to work on parts or the entire research project. In this way, the company can ensure that the contract specifically corresponds to its interests and that the exploitation rights are exclusively protected.

Cooperation projects

If an issue is to be dealt with in the company using the state of the art with a short to medium-term time horizon, the cooperation project is a suitable form of collaboration. Here, the existing specialist and methodological knowledge of the ZNT partners is used to process the issue quickly.

Technology transfer & training

Events and projects offer companies the opportunity to discover the latest research results for their own industrial practice. The partners of the ZNT offer a variety of innovative, new ideas and results as well as the expertise to transfer them into industrial practice.

In addition, companies have the opportunity to take part in training courses and workshops on current trends and topics from research and practice. As part of adult and continuing education, training courses are held on defined topics or implemented directly in business practice.
