The Uni Big Band Kaiserslautern is well-known in the regional jazz scene. They present a wide-ranging professional repertoire of traditional and current big band literature.

Conducted by Pascal Koppenhöfer, they present a new programme with modern instrumental and vocal pieces arranged by current composers.

Some new pieces are joining the line-up as well: „Hop, Skip And Jump“ by Bob Mintzer or „A Higher Calling“, composed by Jim Rotondi and arranged by the young German Jakob Helling. Further, look forward to „2192 Days“ by German composer Claudia Döffinger and “Bye, Bye Blackbird” arranged by Thad Jones und Mel Lewis.
