Magnetic resonance is essentially based on an intrinsic form of angular momentum called spin, which is a property of electrons and atomic nuclei. In the new magnetic resonance laboratory in the LASE building (Laboratory for advanced spin engineering), scientists from chemistry and engineering are conducting research on the fundamentals and technical applications of magnetic resonance.
