As part of the international Point Sud Conference "Climate Crisis Adaptation, Local-Level Resilience and Conflict: Dynamics, Trends and Patterns" (November 11-13, 2025, University of Ghana, Accra), Samantha Ruppel from the Peace Academy Rhineland-Palatinate moderated a World Café that promoted exchange on key issues relating to climate, conflict and resilience.

The World Café format invited participants to engage in discussions in small groups around four thematic tables. The discussions focused on the following topics: Big Geopolitical Questions / Global Power, Environmental and Water Resources (and Conflicts), Local Resilience, Intersectional Vulnerabilities.

The rotating structure of the format made it possible to combine a wide range of perspectives and experiences. At each table, a host moderated the discussions, documented the most important findings and summarized them at the end of the session in a joint closing round.

The World Café thus provided a lively space for interdisciplinary dialog and networking - with the aim of generating new impetus for research and practice in the field of climate resilience and conflict transformation.
