International Mobility in EurIdentity: Advanced Level (min. 6 ECTS)

In addition to specialized knowledge in European thematic areas, RPTU students gain complementary practical experience in cross-border exchange at the universities of the UniGR network abroad or another European university.

Students can collect the 18 ECTS, requiered to complete  the Advanced Level, at UniGR partner universities abroad, if they wish to. However a minimum of 6 ECTS (out of 18) has to be achieved abroad. The international mobility can be obtained attending virtual or/and presence courses abroad.

For their international mobility RPTU students can attend courses at the following UniGR universities abroad:

University of Liége - Belgium
Université de Lorraine (Metz, Nancy) - France
University of Luxembourg - Luxembourg

The chosen courses must be agreed upon in advance with the study coordination in a learning agreement and must fit the contents of the certificate. They then replace regular module elements within the certificate. Please contact the EurIdentity coordination at your home institution and at RPTU for the respective signatures (RPTU contact in the column right, above).

FAQ

All enrolled students at RPTU and the six other UniGR partner universities may complete the EurIdentity Certificate (24 ECTS) - regardless of their study program and study progress. The conditions for obtaining the certificate are:

  • Successful completion of the EurIdenity Basic Module: Foundations of Europe (6 ECTS)
  • Successful completion of the Advances Module (18 ECTS): Courses from the course catalogs of the RPTU and the UniGR partner universities
  • Mobility at a foreign UniGR partner university or other foreign European university (also possible online) Register and enrol at the UniGR partner university where your chosen courses take place

Students can also attend only the Basic Module. Upon successful completion, students receive a certificate of attendance in which the six ECTS credits earned are noted.

Students can start with both the Basic Module and the Advanced Module or attend both modules in parallel. Please note: The Basic Module is currently only offered in the winter semester.

The courses for the Advanced Module are regular courses on Europe offered by RPTU and all other UniGR partner universities. An overview of all open courses in the respective semester can be found in the course catalog.

In the Advanced Module, students must complete a total of 18 ECTS credits. Of these 18 ECTS, 6 ECTS must be completed at one of our international UniGR partner universities or in another European country (e.g. Erasmus).

It is possible to have your completed courses recognized. However, it is important for recognition that your completed courses can be assigned to at least one of the following categories:

- European Humanities
- European arts, European languages, European literature and intercultural studies
- European challenges in science and technology
- European governance and European politics
- Courses indirectly related to Europe (a maximum of 3 ECTS can be chosen from this division).
