From 4 to 7 May 2026, Linda Müller (Project D1) attended the IFAT Munich 2026.

Together with students of Civil Engineering, WERA members attended the IFAT on May 4–5. As the world’s leading trade fair for water, sewage, waste, and raw materials management, the event offered not only exhibitions from a wide range of companies, but also numerous insightful presentations and discussions.

A particular highlight was the lecture series “Regional Phosphorus Recycling”, which took place on Wednesday at noon. Noteworthy presentations included contributions by Mr. Prof. Dockhorn (Braunschweig) on the PECO project, Mr. Dr. Herzel (BAM) on R-Rhenania, and Ms. Dr. Schneider (PhosRoc / Ruhrverband) on the Amphore project.

The exchange with experts and industry representatives on site provided valuable impulses for future research collaborations and further professional discussions.
