Astrophotography – The Universe in Pictures
Vernissage and Exhibit of the SAGA e.V.

Come with us on a facinating walk through the night sky over Kaiserslautern. Where one person might see mythical figures, another sees thrilling physical phenomena. Both worlds meld in impressive photographs of distant galaxies, gleaming star clusters and shimmering nebulas, taken by the student astronomy club SAGA.

The objects pictured are inconceivably far away from us and allow a peek into our universe's past. The members of saga make visible the hidden beauty and diversity of the cosmos.

Let the magic of the night sky enchant you.

All pictures were taken by passionate astrophotographers from the Kaiserslautern area. Over wine and pretzels you can ask them about their exhibits, the universe, and everything.

SAGA –Studentische Arbeitsgemeinschaft Astronomie e. V.

SAGA e.V. is a group of students, alumni and interested people who share a passion for watching the night sky and for astronomy in general. Observe the sky with us — day or night.

We are always happy to meet new members.
