"Die Kraft der Farben"
photography contest

“Die Kraft der Farben” — “The Power of Colours”. Colours can evoke emotion, transport moods, show life. Colours can also be a sign of identity, protest, diversity, or hope. Colours can make the world seem entirely changed. How do you see colours? Loud or quiet? Wild or minimalist? Strong, neon, colourful, or monochrome? We want your perspective on colour: creative, unusual, original. It does not matter what you want to show: portrait, street photography, nature, fashion, abstract — anything goes as long as colour is the main focus.

The winners are looking at a total prize money of 600,-€, public exhibition of the winning entries and the chance to present their art to a broader audience.

Selected entries will be shown alongside the exhibition of the photography club.

The winners will be announced at the vernissage on July 2nd.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE:

  • You are an amateur photograper. If you make money with your photography, you cannot participate.
  • Send in up to three prints of 30x40 or 30x45 centimetres.
  • Note your name and contact information (including email address and phone number) on the back of the print.
  • Entries made with generative AI are prohibited.
  • By sending in your prints, you assert that you are the rightful creator of the photograph and that any persons pictured consent to their publication.
  • You consent to our publication of your photographs.
