At RPTU, we strive to promote and support women's professional training and development.
At RPTU in Landau, the promotion of women is part of the measures of the equality plan. Interested female employees have the opportunity to apply for financial support for individual professional development. This offer is currently only available at RPTU in Landau.

Who is supported?
- Research assistants
- Non-scientific employees
- Civil servants
What is funded?
Internal and external continuing education measures, provided they are relevant to the professional field of activity at our university. Each application must be accompanied by a brief description of the planned further training and a link to the further training program.
In the case of continuing education measures that are not offered by RPTU as an internal personnel development project, the application must be submitted before the continuing education program begins. This application must also be accompanied by a confirmation from the supervisor that the planned further training measure is useful for the performance of the current profession.
Examples of possible support measures are
- In-service training in the field of
► Business administration, IT, management, marketing, personnel management or similar. - Offers to improve soft skills
► Time management, change management, intercultural skills, mental training, self-organization, etc. - Communication training and coaching
► Conversation techniques (contract negotiations, conflict discussions, internal and external communication, etc.), moderation techniques, job application training, public speaking courses, etc. - Offers from company health management (BGM)
► First aid courses, self-defense, mental training, etc.
How much funding is available?
The amount of funding is currently not limited. The decision on the amount of funding is made by the Central Equal Opportunities Officer at RPTU in consultation with the Staff Council.
What other requirements must be met?
- Currently, funding is only possible at RPTU in Landau.
- The measure to be funded is a professional, in-service training course and not an apprenticeship.
- The measure contributes to expanding one's own personal skills in order to be able to work successfully, resiliently, confidently, competitively and future-oriented at our university.
- There is a valid employment contract with the RPTU in Landau during the training program and for at least six months after completion.
How can I receive funding?
Please fill out the application form for the promotion of further training measures for women and send it back to the address given in the application for examination and approval.
Who decides on the funding?
The Staff Council decides on the approval or rejection of a funding application together with the Central Equal Opportunities Officer at RPTU.
