Who is eligible for funding?

• Female Research Associates
• Non-research staff
• Female civil servants

What is funded?

Internal and external continuing education programs, provided they are relevant to your professional responsibilities at our university. Each application must include a brief description of the planned continuing education program and a link to the program’s website.

For continuing education programs not offered at RPTU as an internal university staff development project, the application must be submitted before the program begins. This application must also include a confirmation from your supervisor stating that the planned continuing education program is relevant to your current professional responsibilities.

Examples of eligible training programs include:

• In-service training in the field of
  ► Business Administration, Computer Science, Management, Marketing, Human Resources Management, etc.
• Programs to improve soft skills
  ► time management, change management, intercultural competence, mental training, self-organization, etc.
• Communication training and coaching
  ► Communication techniques (contract negotiations, conflict resolution, internal and external communication, etc.), facilitation techniques, job application training, public speaking courses, etc.
• Workplace Health Management (BGM) Programs
  ► First aid courses, self-defense, mental training, etc.

How much funding is available?

There is currently no limit on the amount of funding. The decision regarding the amount of funding to be granted is made by the RPTU’s Central Equal Opportunity Officer in consultation with the Staff Council.

What other requirements must be met?

• Currently, funding is only available at RPTU in Landau.
• The program to be funded must be a professional, part-time continuing education program and not a vocational training program.
• The program helps expand one’s personal skills so that one can work successfully, resiliently, confidently, competitively, and with an eye toward the future at our university.
• A valid employment contract with RPTU in Landau must be in effect during the continuing education program and for at least six months after its completion.

How can you receive funding?

Please fill out the application for funding for continuing education programs for women and return it to the address listed on the application for review and approval.

Who decides on funding?

The Personnel Council, together with the RPTU’s Central Equal Opportunity Officer, decides whether to approve or reject a funding application.
