Study-related evening courses at RPTU
During the lecture period (2 × 3 teaching hours per week)

Each semester, RPTU offers the opportunity to improve your German skills alongside your studies. Courses take place twice a week from 5:30 PM to 7:45 PM on the Kaiserslautern campus.

• 6 teaching hours per week (2 × 5:30 PM – 7:45 PM)
• Course days: Monday & Wednesday OR Tuesday & Thursday
• All levels from A1 to C1
• One group specifically prepares for the DSH exam at RPTU; this group meets online via OpenOLAT / BigBlueButton on Mondays and Wednesdays
• Final exams are held in all groups in the week after the end of the course
• Participants can earn 6 ECTS credits, which may be recognized as academic achievements in various degree programs
• Placement test before the course begins to ensure optimal group placement

Course fee:

• €210 (with enrollment at RPTU in the winter semester 2026/27)
• €330 (without enrollment at RPTU in the winter semester 2026/27)
