Gender Equality Representation
At RPTU, the following individuals are committed to promoting gender equality: the Central and Deputy Central Equal Opportunity Officers appointed by the Senate (ZGB), the staff members in the ZGB office, the departmental gender equality officers, the Office for Equal Opportunity along with the Family Services in Kaiserslautern and Landau, and the Senate Committee on Gender Equality (SaG).

Equal opportunities representatives
Office of the Central Equal Opportunities Officer
The staff in the Equal Opportunities Office, together with the Central Equal Opportunities Officers, are responsible for the organizational planning and implementation of equal opportunities projects at RPTU and are the point of contact for all university members on all central issues relating to equal opportunities.
Decentralized Equal Opportunities Officers of the departments
In each department at RPTU, the respective department council appoints a decentralized equal opportunities officer and a deputy who take care of equal opportunities issues in their department. They are advisory contacts for all equal opportunities issues in the department and provide support when it comes to opportunities for the advancement of women (e.g. in appointment procedures).
Senate Committee for Gender Equality
The Senate at RPTU appoints a Senate Committee for Gender Equality (SaG). This committee is made up of an equal number of members from each status group at both university locations. In addition to an advisory function, its tasks include appointing the Central Equal Opportunities Officer and her deputy.
