Gender Equality Officer at RPTU

The realisation and promotion of equality between women and men is regulated in § 4 (1) HochSchG. The University of Kaiserslautern-Landau (RPTU) fulfils this legal mandate with great commitment. The goals and tasks of the equal opportunities work are set out in the university's equal opportunities plan.

Since 1 October 2024, Univ. Prof. Dr.-Ing. habil. Karina Pallagst is the new Deputy Central Equal Opportunities Officer at RPTU Kaiserslautern-Landau. She succeeds Prof. Dr Gabi Troeger-Weiß, who was retiring from RPTU at the end of September. Professor Pallagst was previously appointed to her new position on 10 July 2024 by the RPTU Senate in its integrated Senate meeting, as proposed by the Senate Committee for Gender Equality, unanimously with two abstentions.
