The following applications can be filed at the Rhineland-Palatinate Patent Information Center -
in person during opening hours, by post, by fax or at any time via the day and night mailbox:

• national, European and international patent applications
  (Section 34 (2) PatG, Art. II Section 4 (1) sentence 1, Art. III Section 1 (2) IntPatÜG)
• National utility model applications including branch applications
  (Sections 4 (2), 5 GebrMG)
• National trademark and design applications
  (Section 32 (1) MarkenG, Section 11 (1) DesignG)

Note on posting outside opening hours:
The day and night mailbox is located directly in front of building 32
on the campus of the RPTU, Kaiserslautern site (Paul-Ehrlich-Straße 32).

Please note that the PIZ is not allowed to issue a written or stamped confirmation of receipt.
You will receive the official confirmation of receipt directly from the German Patent and Trade Mark Office (DPMA) by post.
