With the "Open Digitalization Alliance Palatinate II (ODPfalz-II)", we are addressing the challenges of digital change and testing solutions in various subject areas for the Palatinate transfer region in participatory models, corresponding to the major social challenges of "Economy and Work 4.0", "Mobility", "Sustainability, Climate Protection and Energy" and "Health and Care". The project is dedicated to the further development of the regional innovation system and aims to empower regional small and medium-sized enterprises in particular to increase their affinity for technology and innovation. Furthermore, the discourse with society on future topics, on shaping the transformation and on social participation in the regional innovation system will be established and expanded.
ODPfalz-II is a joint project of Kaiserslautern University of Applied Sciences (HSKL) and the University of Kaiserslautern-Landau (RPTU) and involves the direct partners Fraunhofer Institute for Industrial Mathematics (ITWM) and Leibniz Institute for Composite Materials (IVW) as well as four strategic partners and many partners from business and society. ODPfalz-II is implemented in a partnership-based organizational structure. Four sub-projects form the subject-oriented, topic-specific transfer, three sub-projects work across the board on individual aspects of the transfer process and two sub-projects with a longer preparation time strengthen and complete the project.
