CIRP working group on burrs

The working group on burrs started its work in January 2006 at the Paris meeting of CIRP. Its goal is to collect available research results about burrs and to foster research into the area of burrs, with a focus on burrs analysis and control as well as on cleanability and burr removal.

Within the three-year duration of the working group on burrs, a large number of technical contributions has been presented and is scheduled for presentation (documents only in the members area).

In addition, a CIRP keynote paper and a CIRP workshop on burrs are planned for the year 2009 and will commence the working group.
