NMRPM 2025

The fifth edition of the Quantitative NMR Methods for Process and Reaction Monitoring (NMRPM) symposium took place from March 31st to April 2nd, 2025, at RPTU Kaiserslautern. The event was organized by the Laboratory of Engineering Thermodynamics and the LASE-MR group, hosted on the university campus.

This year's symposium featured 16 distinguished speakers from national and international institutions and industries who shared their latest research and practical applications of NMR techniques in the context of process and reaction monitoring. Topics included industrial applications, imaging methods, and the integration of NMR with machine learning and data-driven approaches.

The symposium was proudly supported by our sponsors: Bruker BioSpin, Magritek GmbH, Nanalysis Scientific Corp., Rototec-Spintec GmbH, and Voxalytic GmbH, who showcased their most recent innovations in NMR hardware during the event. We also gratefully acknowledge the valuable financial support of our project partners, HyPERiON and Nanokat, whose collaboration was instrumental to the success of the symposium. 

To promote scientific exchange and networking, the program included a poster session and a dedicated Young Researcher Session, giving PhD students the opportunity to present their work and engage in in-depth discussions. A poster prize, sponsored by the journal Magnetic Resonance in Chemistry (MRC), was awarded to recognize an outstanding contribution from a young scientist.

Social highlights such as a welcome get-together and a festive networking dinner at Das Brauhaus an der Gartenschau offered additional opportunities for informal networking and exchange.
