ERMA – analyzed, optimized and validated … for mobile machines of the future

Goal of the joint project which is supported by the foundation "Rheinland-Pfalz für Innovation" is development of energy-efficient concepts and technologies for mobile machines on the example of a mobile excavator. In the foreground are drive, energy management, friction and Life Cycle Management. Actually the project is in an advanced phase: Methods to estimate power losses are developed, test series on the measure-excavator are finished and first results of the analysis are fixed. In this article we would like to give an example for acquired perceptions and cooperation intra-research team.
