The "Association of Friends and Sponsors of the Peace Academy", which has existed since 2018, supports the activities of the Peace Academy both ideally and materially. On the one hand, this includes supporting the visibility of the Peace Academy in Rhineland-Palatinate (and beyond); promoting its networking activities, especially with regard to civil society actors in the field of "peace" and "development" and a complementary commitment in the area of organizing and promoting public events. On the other hand, this also includes financial support for projects and processes that cannot be easily handled by the Peace Academy's budget. Here, the association can provide funds (to a limited extent) more flexibly than is possible via the budget of a central institution of a public university.
Become a member
Our work depends on your support. You have the opportunity to become a member of our association and/or to support our work through donations. In order to maintain the relationship with members and donors, it is necessary for our association to store, process or use your personal data (in this case also the bank details provided).
In order to accept you as a member and to be able to contact you, we collect some information about you and how you would like to support us in the membership form.
You can also make donations to our association without becoming a member. In order to process your donation, we collect your contact details and information about your donation. We use this data exclusively to process your donation.
