Emergency backpack
Safety is teamwork! To ensure that the special events you organize are not only fun, but also optimally secured, we have something new for your safety: an emergency backpack including an automated external defibrillator (AED) is available for you to borrow. This offer is aimed at all students and employees of our university for their respective events on and off campus. Whether it's student council parties, barbecues, sports tournaments or excursions: With this equipment you are well equipped for emergencies.
What's included?
- Fully equipped emergency backpack: Professional first aid material, rescue blankets and accessories in accordance with DIN 13157 (small first aid kit)
- AED: A life-saving device that provides clear voice instructions in the event of cardiac arrest, making it safe for any layperson to use.
How lending works
Renting is easy and free for all RPTU members:
- Reservation: Use the booking tool. You’ll find the links at the bottom of this page.
- Pickup: The backpack can be picked up by the person who made the reservation upon presentation of a student ID or staff ID.
Please note that the emergency backpack can only be delivered to Landau on Tuesdays and Thursdays. We therefore ask that you be sure to take this into account when making your reservation or scheduling your event to ensure timely delivery. - Return: Please return the backpack as soon as possible after the event. If any supplies were used, please let us know briefly (using the form included in the backpack) so that we can restock the backpack for the next rental.
