Your contact person for domestic services and outdoor facilities

Department 6.3 – Building Services and Outdoor Facilities at RPTU is responsible for the operation, maintenance and proper condition of outdoor facilities, as well as for central building services on campus. The department's goal is to ensure a safe, functional and well-maintained infrastructure for studying, teaching, research and administration.

Department 6.3 works closely with other organisational units at RPTU, e.g. waste management and hazardous materials, and contributes significantly to pleasant, safe and functional campus operations through its reliable services.

Tasks

The department's tasks include, in particular, the care and maintenance of green spaces and traffic areas, ensuring traffic safety, winter services and coordinating external service providers in the area of outdoor facilities. In addition, the building services department performs a wide range of support activities in building and event operations, such as assembly and dismantling work, internal transport and logistical support for university events.
