The completion and functional tests of the electronic catalog system Open Ordering have been successfully completed - Open Ordering will start on 01.03.2019 with the first departments of Physics and Mechanical Engineering.

On 12.02.2019, Open Ordering was presented in a joint meeting of the managing directors of the departments and the ZV in preparation for the go-live. The electronic catalog system, which will replace the paper-based order form process, was presented as an example at the meeting. The release of the departments and central facilities will take place in stages. The departments of Physics and Mechanical Engineering were the first users to be connected to the system, as they had already provided support to the administration during the pilot phase.
