6.4 Occupational health and safety
Department 6.4 Occupational Health and Safety was established on the legal basis of the Occupational Safety Act.
Occupational safety specialists and the company doctor advise and support the university management and all executives on issues relating to occupational health and safety, accident prevention and the humane design of work.
Occupational health and safety responsibilities include appointing safety officers, organising first aid courses, scheduling occupational health check-ups and recording accident reports from employees and students.
RPTU occupational health and safety and environmental management system (AGUM_RPTU)
The RPTU is a member of AGUM e. V. The aim is to provide universities, colleges and other institutions with tailor-made and practical support in implementing legal requirements for occupational health and safety and environmental protection with the help of its own management system (AGU management system). The website can only be accessed within our university network (via VPN when travelling).
