The new projects in the Campus Management System (CMS) area are the result of the upcoming merger of TU Kaiserslautern and the Landau campus.

As part of the "Merging CMS" project, the Landau and Kaiserslautern systems will be merged into an HIS-GX and an HISinOne APP system. The University of Koblenz-Landau currently operates an HIS-GX system for student and examination administration and the HISconnect system connected to it as an application portal. The different systems are to be merged into a uniform system at the same time.

The prerequisite for this is the merging of the data basis (student data) and the conversion of the joint database systems to PostgreSQL.

In the project "Changing the university name and logo CMS", the student administration notifications, portals and websites will be adapted to the new name and logo of the merged university.

The project consists of three phases, which include the analysis of the existing templates and portals used, the development of the concept for the standardization and the implementation of the adjustments.
